My Story

I am Dee Ann and the founder of Persnickety Grace, named after my love for details and for my beloved daughters.  I'm the mother of three, Holland, Dulcie, and Brier, who share the middle name Grace.  I live in the heart of historic Charleston in a built circa 1829 carriage house. 

I have always been a romantic at heart, entranced by beauty and thoughtful to the importance of even the smallest of details, largely due to my mother.  She created so much prettiness in our home in the most exquisite of ways.  Marmee showed me the art of living a beautiful life.  As a mother, I wanted to give my daughters the same appreciation and weave beauty throughout their lives.
